The dentist chooses veneers

Why choose Composite
Bonding or Veneers?

What is gum disease?

Your smile is often the first thing people notice. If you have chipped teeth, gaps, worn edges or teeth you're simply not happy with, cosmetic dentistry can make a huge difference to your confidence.

At Visage Dental we believe cosmetic dentistry should enhance your natural smile - not create one that looks artificial.

Whether you're looking for a small improvement or a complete smile makeover, we'll help you choose the treatment that's right for you.

What can Composite Bonding & Veneers do for you?

Both treatments can improve:

  • Chipped teeth
  • Worn teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Uneven edges
  • Misshapen teeth
  • Discoloured teeth
  • Teeth that appear too short
  • Overall smile appearance

Our dentists will discuss your goals and recommend the treatment that will achieve the best long-term result for your smile.

Why it’s better for you?

Minimally invasive treatment

Composite bonding usually requires little or no drilling, meaning we preserve as much of your natural tooth as possible.

Beautiful natural results

Modern composite materials and ceramic veneers are designed to blend beautifully with your existing teeth, creating a natural-looking smile.

Fast smile improvements

Many composite bonding cases can be completed in just one appointment.

Bespoke to your smile

Every restoration is individually shaped and colour matched to complement your facial features and existing teeth.

Long-lasting confidence

With good oral hygiene and regular dental care, composite bonding can last many years, while ceramic veneers often last 10–15 years or longer.

Composite Bonding

Composite bonding uses a high-quality tooth-coloured resin that is carefully sculpted directly onto your teeth.

It is ideal for repairing small chips, closing gaps, reshaping teeth or improving uneven edges.

Composite bonding is one of the most conservative cosmetic treatments available and is often completed in a single visit.

Benefits

  • Usually completed in one appointment
  • No laboratory work required
  • Affordable cosmetic option
  • Easily repaired if required
  • Minimal removal of natural tooth

Ceramic Veneers

Ceramic veneers (often called porcelain veneers) are ultra-thin custom-made shells that are bonded to the front of your teeth.

They are an excellent choice for patients wanting a complete smile transformation with exceptional aesthetics and durability.

Each veneer is individually designed to create a balanced, natural smile.

Benefits

  • Extremely natural appearance
  • Highly stain resistant
  • Strong and durable
  • Long-lasting results
  • Ideal for smile makeovers

Your Composite Bonding & Veneer Journey

STEP 1

Book your Cosmetic Smile Consultation 🙂

Meet with one of our experienced cosmetic dentists to discuss what you'd like to improve. We'll examine your teeth, discuss your options and explain whether composite bonding or ceramic veneers would be most suitable.

STEP 2

Smile planning 🙂

We will take photographs, digital scans and, whereneeded, X-rays to carefully plan your new smile.
Where appropriate, we'll also create a mock-up of your new smile so you can see the proposed shape, size and colour of your teeth before your final veneers or composite bonding are made. This allows you to be involved in the design process and ensures you're happy with the planned result before treatment begins.
You'll then receive a personalised treatment plan, including your treatment options, costs and expected timescales before any treatment starts.

STEP 3

Create your new smile 🙂
  • Composite Bonding
Your dentist carefully applies and sculpts the composite resin directly onto your teeth before polishing it to a beautiful natural shine.

    Or...
  • Ceramic Veneers
Your teeth are prepared where necessary before impressions or digital scans are taken. Your bespoke ceramic veneers are then created before being carefully bonded into place.

Finally, we'll check your bite, make any final adjustments and show you how to care for your new smile.
  • After care
Looking after your new smile is simple.

Continue brushing twice a day, clean between your teeth daily and attend your regular dental examinations and hygiene appointments.

Avoid biting very hard objects with composite bonding and limit foods and drinks that may stain, such as coffee, tea and red wine.

We'll advise you on the best way to keep your smile looking beautiful for years to come.
