Visage Harpenden was established in 2016 by Esther Hathorn, drawing on her 20 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist. Esther refined her expertise by working with leading professionals, managing her own dental consultancy business, and specialising in dental compliance and safety. With this wealth of knowledge, she set out to create this exceptional dental practice.
Visage St Albans was founded in 2019, Esther took over an existing referral specialist practice known for its excellence in providing dental implants and providing periodontal treatment (gum treatment) since 2003.
Visage is dedicated to delivering a professional and compassionate service, with a strong focus on patient care. The team is especially empathetic towards nervous or anxious patients, creating a calm and reassuring environment to help ease their concerns. With a patient-centered approach, Visage ensures that everyone feels comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment journey. Whether it's a routine check-up or more complex dental procedures, Visage’s commitment to high-quality care and attention to individual needs sets them apart.
Visage offers hypnotherapy services for dental anxiety and needle phobia as well as other services.
Esther founded Visage Medical in 2024, it is the sister practice to Visage Dental. Visage medical offers comprehensive private GP services, healthcare packages, and advanced genetic testing tailored to meet a range of medical needs. Their private GP services ensure timely and personalised care, allowing patients to avoid long waiting times and receive expert attention for everyday health concerns, preventive care, and chronic condition management.
Their healthcare packages are designed to provide a holistic approach to wellness, combining regular check-ups, diagnostics, and tailored treatment plans to ensure overall well-being. These packages cover a broad spectrum of health needs, from routine assessments to more specific, targeted health evaluations.
Visage Medical also specialises in cutting-edge genetic testing, including family genetic screenings and cancer testing. These tests help identify inherited conditions or predispositions to certain diseases, enabling early intervention and personalised treatment strategies. By offering genetic family and cancer testing, they empower patients with critical knowledge about their health, helping them make informed decisions for both themselves and their families.
