Maya Gwynne

Dr Maya Gwynne is a highly experienced general dentist who qualified from the University of Leeds with a BChD in 2001. Originally from Yorkshire, she has over 25 years of experience in dentistry and has built many long-standing relationships with patients and their families throughout her career.

She is a calm, caring and family-focused dentist who believes that good dentistry begins with making patients feel comfortable, listened to and understood. She particularly enjoys getting to know her patients over the years.

Experience/Training:

• Dr Gwynne previously owned and ran her own dental practice in North London for 14 years. She made the decision to sell her practice and move to Hertfordshire to spend more time with her family.
• As a general dentist, she enjoys all aspects of dentistry and takes a preventative, long-term approach to patient care. She particularly enjoys helping nervous patients feel at ease and creating a relaxed and reassuring environment at every visit.
• She has been an active member of her Local Dental Committee for over 10 years and organised many educational evenings for the local dental practices.
